| We did everything possible for an hour, but this beautiful boy was stillborn. Frolic would not let him out of sight until she had 2 live puppies to care for. |

| Shown is one of the toys Frolic took into her bed to take the place of her two lost puppies, as we have no photo of Eli. He was white with patches of colour and a bit larger than his 3 brothers. Born at the vet clinic, Eli was handed off to our vet within seconds of birth. He did not have a heartbeat, and the experts had no better success giving him life than we'd had at home with his brother. Eli was sent for necropsy. The results did not give a cause of death, but ruled out any cause for concern for his mother or siblings. | |||||||
